Clarington is a growing community with a population of more than 107,000 people and counting. Residents live in four urban centres (Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle and Orono) and 14 hamlets. The Municipality spans 614 square kilometres, an area equivalent to the size of the City of Toronto.

Clarington is well connected to the Greater Toronto Area and highly accessible, as we are situated alongside Highway 401 to the south, Highway 407 to the north and Highway 35/115 to the east.
